Each funder sets its own requirements and decides who receives a bursary. Bursary Seekers prepares documents and, on the full package, submits applications.

How it works

From your first message to the applications

  1. Tell us what you are applying for

    Message Bursary Seekers on WhatsApp. Say what you are studying and which bursaries you want: NSFAS, Funza Lushaka, a SETA, a company bursary, or a provincial bursary.

  2. Choose a package

    CV only is R100. A CV and one motivational letter is R130. The full package is R350. Interview preparation for non-clients is R50.

  3. We prepare the documents

    Your CV is written for bursary applications. Where letters are included, they are written for those applications. On the full package, each bursary gets its own motivational letter.

  4. Applications and interviews

    On the full package we apply to suitable bursaries over three months, up to 15. Clients receive free mock interviews with feedback. Non-clients can book interview preparation for R50.

Your documents stay with your applications

Bursary Seekers handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Student documents, including identity details, academic records, CVs, and motivational letters, are used only for that student's own bursary applications.

We do not sell this information, and we do not use one student's documents for someone else's application. Questions about your information can go to bursaryseekers@gmail.com.
